Gerolyn Whittemore opened Studio G Therapy more than seventeen years ago in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Her Clients range from eleven to ninety years old. She works with top Athletes, stressed high energy executives, as well as those with scoliosis, acute and/or severe injury, and those with mild to severe neurological & orthopedic issues. 

She has a passion to help Clients Restore, Rebuild, & Transform Health.

Teach people to move better.

Reconnect clients with their own bodies.

Help others understand mechanisms of chronic pain, and/or severe injury.

Explain the nature pain cycles and how we cope.

Movement as medicine, a determined attitude for problem solving, and deep focus on the interconnection of body systems allows for positive results for her elite athletes, as well as those who have difficult movement challenges.

Gerolyn’s unique approach focuses on Pilates for emphasis on core strength and its ability to rehabilitate movement patterns. Combined with bodywork that creates space in the body, frees joint motion, and activates muscle to brain connection. 

These techniques calm nerves, restore movement, and transform health. She has more than twenty-five years of experience developing and instituting individual and group physical training programs. Seventeen years of those in Private Practice, as a Myoskeletal Alignment Therapist, combined with Pilates Movement and Conditioning. 

As a Lifestyle, health expert she has, spoken & presented locally, nationally and internationally at conventions, health symposiums, gyms, hospitals/health facilities, community groups and police agencies on many health and wellness subjects.

Rene has the goal of keeping a balanced body, mind and spirit. She encourages clients to create their own healthy lifestyle through her lifelong interest and practice of healthy habits.

Rene has a life long background in a variety of exercise types, including weight training, aerobics, and stretching.  She has taught both individuals and in class settings.  She earned  her SCW Personal Trainer Certificate ih 2018 and teaches Barre Above Classes.

She has also created her own style health program call Rene's Approach to Health or RAH (pronouned RAW).  This custom program is designed for those who are seeking to achieve a better lifestyle, by creating an action plan and developing strategies to achieve their goals. Rene helps clients change their eating habits and start an exercise plan.
